Susie,Glad to be back home after an amazing adventure. Tauck made this
special in every way--very knowledgeable tour director with a great
sense of humor, the hotels were definitely five star and all the details
of the tour were perfect in every way. It is difficult to name one
highlight. Visiting Varanasi at sunrise with a boat ride on the Ganges
and then returning to the cremation area by boat at sunset, being the
first couple let in to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise, riding an elephant
up to the palace in Jaipur, a hot air balloon ride over villages near
Udaipur, and seeing the villages of Karala in southern India on a rice
boat were all highlights. It will take us awhile to process all that we
saw and experienced. On top of it all, the group we traveled with were
all enjoyable. Looking forward to hearing about your trip.--Elaine
